Hal D. Peters started his insurance career in 1999 with Bankers Life & Casualty. After receiving many awards with Bankers, he decided to start his own agency so as to better serve the needs of his clients in the Franklin, Floyd, Patrick, and Henry counties, as well as surrounding areas.

He currently holds Life, Health, Annuity and Property & Casualty licences in Virginia, and Life and Health In North & South Carolina. He has been certified to represent many Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans since the inception of these programs in 2006.

Deena K. Peters has retired from a 15 year career as a nationally Registered Respiratory therapist to join her husband at Ferrum Financial. She holds Life, Health, Annuity and Property & Casualty licenses, and still keeps her RRT license as well.

Norene Bussey came to Ferrum Financial to save money on her health insurance and stayed. She fills in when either Deena or Hal is out of the office and is responsible for special projects and customer mailings.
